What is the Sport Premium, and what can it be used for?
In short, money to be spent on improving physical activity in schools. It can be spent on things that help schools, giving flexibility within guidelines. Funding should be used to make purchases that will benefit pupils for years to come.
What are the most suitable ways to spend this funding?
We believe you should make use of this money to fill in any gaps you currently have - many school playgrounds could use some fun activities to get children active at playtimes! That said, playground markings are a great way to transform your school’s playground! They add colourful and vibrant activities that get children learning, having fun and - crucially - keeping active at playtimes.
