Tarporley C Of E Primary School
We’ve been working hard at Tarporley C of E Primary School, in North West England to create a new outdoor learning area with plenty of space for children of all ages to play freely in and learn at the same time!
A good playground teaches literacy, numeracy, and geography. All the same skills you would teach in a classroom.
Our multiplication grid is a great way to learn multiplication that’s so much more fun! With the multiplication grid, children can learn maths in an interactive way. The multiplication grid is a visual representation of how multiplication works. It’s laid out in rows and columns, with the rows and columns representing the numbers being multiplied and the numbers they are being multiplied by. Children can use this to practice different types of multiplication problems quickly and efficiently.
There’s also a lot of fun to be had in Frog Phonics! The children at Tarporley will now have a chance to explore phonics in an easy, engaging, and vibrant way, without it being dull and boring. We believe there needs to be more to school than just textbook learning – there should be games that can captivate children, and keep them learning too!
Get children to experience playing outside during bright summer days by exploring the global map of different countries! Doing this will allow them to explore geography and also enjoy being in the great outdoors. The Continent Map is another fabulous educational playground that your pupils will love. Exploring the world has never been more fun! Play geography games, and use it as a way learn about other cultures and countries, and be an explorer!
We truly hope the children of Tarporley have a great time on their brand new playground and hope it gets lots of use for years to come!
